Application Information
- Complete the State Application fully. If something does not apply, then N/A (not Applicable). While completing the application, if there are any questions or concerns about the Background Information Section- Questions #1, please contact the State at (850)487-1395.
- Electronic Fingerprinting is a part of the application process and must be done as soon as possible.

The fingerprinting fee is $61, which must be paid to Promissor.

Sales Associate Application Fee: $105.00
- Please send your State Application, Along with your check in the pre-addressed envelope provided. We recommend sending the application by certified mail to ensure it is received.
- It will take approximately 4-6 weeks to process your application.
- After an approval response is received either by mail or by viewing the states website (www.myflorida.com), you will then be able to schedule your own state exam date by contacting Promissor at the phone number or website listed below. The State Exam fee is $31.50, which is paid directly to Promissor.
Upon completion of the Real Estate Sales Associate Pre-License Course, you will be required to earn a 70% score to pass the State’s 100 multiple choice exam before you can obtain a Florida State Real Estate Sales Associate License. To apply for your state license and to take the state exam with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations, go to www.myfloridalicense.com online before completing the course. The current cost for the state application is $152. Once your application is complete, including the notification that you have successfully completed the pre-licensing course, the DBPR will send you approval to take the state exam.
